A vehicle still maintained by its first owner at Mercedes Roma Porta Fabrica for its first sixteen years, then at Mercedes Como Fontenay-sous-Bois since 2023.
The short G-Class is a very rare version of the G-Class, and is without doubt the most elegant of them all.
Here we are lucky enough to have a 2008 version of a 2007 model, with the completely restyled dashboard of the latest models discontinued in 2012.
As well as being in its latest interior version, our model is equipped with its most exclusive engine: the 500, with the fabulous naturally-aspirated 5.00-litre V8 producing 296 bhp.
This high-torque engine allows the G-Class to zip around town with disconcerting agility, and responds to any pressure. The reduced size of the short chassis also facilitates any complicated manoeuvres, whether in town or off the beaten track.
Currently in perfect working order, the vehicle’s equipment, refined and plentiful for its time, contrasts with the rustic exterior so appreciated on a G-Class.
Its extremely rare short-chassis engine, its irreproachable condition both aesthetically and mechanically, its cubanite grey configuration, and the fact that it has been only two owners for over 18 years, are all arguments that make this vehicle unique.
An exceptional collector’s item!
